K-ETA is Korea's standard pre-arrival screening for visa-free travellers, similar in spirit to Australia's ETA. It is currently temporarily exempted for the passports below.
For applicants who need a full Korea visa rather than K-ETA — most commonly Work Permit, S Pass and other pass holders whose passport is not visa-exempt for Korea.
For helpers travelling with the family to Korea to continue caregiving duties. The helper must have been employed by the sponsor for at least 6 months at the time of application.

This page mainly serves Work Permit, S Pass and other pass holders whose own passport doesn't carry the same visa-free access.

Yes, on the C-3-9 domestic helper tourism visa, provided she's been employed by you for at least 6 months at the time of application. Her duties in Korea must be caring for a child aged 12 or under, an elderly person aged 65 or over, or someone with special needs. You'll need to provide a signed Letter of Guarantee alongside your own employment and bank documents.
K-ETA is Korea's electronic pre-arrival screening for visa-free travellers. It's currently temporarily waived for 22 exempt passports including Singapore, through 31 December 2026. Where required or chosen voluntarily, it's valid for 2 to 3 years.
You can apply for a Korea visa instead. Include proof of the K-ETA denial with your visa application.
You'll need a sponsor — typically a spouse, working child, parent or sibling — who provides their own company or school letter, passport biodata page, and a marriage or birth certificate proving the relationship. Certificates not in English must be translated and endorsed by the relevant embassy or high commission in Singapore.
Send us your passport, pass type and travel purpose. We'll confirm whether you need a visa or K-ETA and what it will cost — usually within one business hour.
